Small Wooden Shoe is named after the tools French workers would use to "clog" the machinery when on strike. Their “sabot” – small wooden shoes – gave English the word “sabotage.”

Opening night and prepress

We open tonight - I might be in a bit of denial, but am really looking forward to it. Work towards something for this long, it's a bit unreal.Please join us in the next few weeks to think and sing and skip rope about the effects of progress on our lives. And then stick around for a drink.
