It is a cliché
that artists sit around in bars and talk about art - in our experience this
cliché is no longer true artists (like most people) now sit
around in bars and complain about money.
Maybe this has
always been true, but Fragile Positions will be a space where we can sit in
a bar and talk about art - performance in particular.
A group of diverse
artists, whose work all involves performance, sit down for a night and discuss
the why's and the what's in a way that often gets waylaid by "practical"
discussions of funding and survival. |
