Things you can do:

Become a member– Small Wooden Shoe is a registered not-for-profit organization. By becoming a member, you become a vital part of the company. As a member, you will recieve discounts on tickets, recieve our email announcements and other benefits.

$15 - Basic Membership
$75 - Patron Membership all of the above plus - a swanky Small Wooden Shoe t-shirt.

Time – anything from accounting to building sets to box office to postering to planning a fundraiser. Or suggest something else.

Space – We are always looking for spaces to perform, rehearse, have an office. If you have a space, or any leads on a space, in Halifax, Toronto or Montreal, we'd love to hear about it.

Presenters – We'd love to tour. If you want to help bring Small Wooden Shoe to where you are, let us know and we can start a conversation.

Resources – Got a photocopier we can use?

For our upcoming workshop of Perhaps in a Hundred Years, we're looking for:
Sound Gear:
3 x SM58 microphones (or equivalent) or 3 wireless lav mics, but that's probably pushing it.
3 x Mic stands (at least one of which is a straight stand)

1 x Mixer (at least 3 mic ins and 2 stereo line ins)
1 x Amp
2 x Speakers
or
3 x Guitar amps (practice amps are fine)
2 x Sets of good computer speakers

Set stuff:
Model kits – especially houses or space related. Completed or not.
Wood panelling. fairly large (3 by 6 and bigger)
Office deviders
Old computers + monitors
Parts (specifically circuit boards) of old computers

Other:
Slide projector. (and if anyone knows if there is a slide library in Toronto)

The workshop is July 6 - August 14. We wouldn't need all the stuff all the time, and could return light (mics) stuff at the end of each week (we rehearse Monday-Friday) or for any occasion

Money – Because we can't get everything for free.
